The common pilates floor exercises will vary from instructor to instructor, but you will find they become progressively more complex and difficult as you practise over time. However, most pilates mat workouts are based on the original teachings of the creator of pilates, Joseph Pilates. They tend to begin with a warmup known as the hundred and move on to leg circles, a five-part ab series, and roll-ups.
